Slip Inside This House episode 9 - Rare and obscure sounds emanating from the island of Ireland. Starting with DIY home recordings of Musique Concrete from Monaghan in the 1950's and ending in outlaw low fi primitive beats from Dublin in the early 90's.

My track Radio/Radio was a piece I did for a Phonorgia Nova competition. In the days long before the internet they sent you a CD full of samples and you had to use at least one of them to create the work. My piece made the final shortlist and there was a very substantial prize for the winner. Unfortunately I did not win but I always remember waiting for the results to arrive there was no online checking in those days snail mail was the only way.
