A Sound Walk for Culture Night in the town of Midleton. Led by the artist Danny McCarthy. McCarthy is vastly experience in the field of Sound Walks having led his first walk over twenty years ago and led walks all over Ireland and abroad.. The walk will take a circular route around the town where participants will be able to mindfully listen to the various sounds of the town old and new, big and small and develop a listening practice of their own. The walk will encompass sites that once had very different distinctive  sounds associated with them to the sounds that are now there. The walk takes place at 7pm and gives plenty of time to attend other Culture Night events before and after.
