On 11TH Jan 2011 (11/1/11) foghorns ceased to sound off the coast of Ireland .As part of the artists residency in the Crawford Gallery the artist installed a sound installation with the sound of a forhorn sounding every hour from a parapet outside the gallery and filling the surrounding square and side street with the now lost sound.The gallery has agreed to recreate the installation on the 11th Jan for the next five years.
