At 8pm the Guesthouse artist in residence Ed Devane invites you to come and see and hear his touring project Stop/Run. Ed has invited local sound artists and musicians to explore and improvise with his ensemble of self-made experimental, electroacoustic musical instruments. The project came into being when Devane was invited to create a sound art installation at Severed Head in Dublin in December 2010.The Stop/Run project will also show in Galway, Belfast thanks to the financial support of the Arts Council and will feature local musicians and sound artists from a wide range of backgrounds, from noise to Trad. Recordings will be made freely available through http://www.stop-run-music.com/ of all Stop/Run performances and offshoot /remix projects.
