International Preview of John Cage Song Books

In their first ever performance in Ireland, New York based Alarm Will Sound will

perform John Cage’s Songbooks to mark his centenary year. Alarm Will Sound is a twenty

member group dedicated to the creation, performance and recording if today’s most

innovative music.

John Cage’s greatest music-theatre work Song Books exemplifies an astonishing

range of musical styles that is increasingly relevant to the contemporary musical world,

and resonates with the breath of Alarm Will Sound’s programming.
